The image is the Arabic word “ilm” which means Knowledge. This is written in Classic Square Kufic Script with a modern design twist. Education and increasing your level of knowledge are very important in Islam.
Caliph Al-Ma’mun is said to have encouraged translators and scholars to add to the library in the House of Wisdom by paying them the weight of each completed book in gold. Muslims have helped to pave the way for the renaissance, which have has been ignored in the history books until recently.
